No stopping me now!

I'm all inspired by The Male Room Challenge so I've completed another card; this one is to congratulate grandparents on their first grandson.

A bit of dimension with the duck, balloons & growsuit.  Pear Pizazz is the colour, though that may not be very obvious as my phone camera seems to be turning everything brownish; it's certainly not obvious that the bench on which the card is sitting is white.

Have fixed settings on phone camera.  Hooray!  Better photo here.

Thanks for looking.

Back again - after almost 8 months!

This is what happens when one unsubscribes from challenge emails whilst on holidays.  I got out of the habit of creating!
Well, here goes again.  The Male Room Challenge arrived just as I was to make a birthday card; I find a challenge a great way to focus.  Otherwise, I have such a mess in my head and I can't concentrate on one idea.

Adding better photo (not so yellow) - have fixed setting on my phone camera.

Sahara Sand is the colour.  The "edging" was stamped using the Timeless Textures set from SU and the car & sentiment are from Guy Greetings and were clear embossed.  First time use for both of these, but it certainly won't be the last.

Thanks for looking.

Circles!

This time I'm entering in the Just Us Girls word challenge and Pals Paper Arts colour challenge.

PPA 258 Jul. 2

Fun working with the corrugated cardboard.  I didn't have Cucumber Crush or Watermelon Wonder, but I hope I've got close enough.

Here's my card.

Monochromatic Red

My entry for the Colour Me challenge uses a couple of my favourite dies.  I spent quite a long time cutting out the flower and replacing the middle white bits, then realised it doesn't really show and I could have just done the diecut in red!  Oh well - in person, I think it looks better this way.  That's my story anyway!

Thanks for looking.

CAS Colours & Sketches

The first card I made using the colours from the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge didn't have white space so I made another one, but I'll show both here.

Thanks for looking.

The Card Concept Entry

The Card Concept has a great colour combo.

Here's my take on it.  Clean & Layered style?
