House of Cards has a "feathers" challenge. I've already entered once, but have another card to submit. Feathers are so wonderful to play with. This is a simple card with white embossing and sponging.
Well, I've been trying to get more "white space" and I think I've achieved the CAS idea this time.
My entry is for Less is More (3 pastels), Addicted to CAS (Smiles) and Hand Stamped Sentiments (calypso coral, pool party & smoky slate).
This card makes me smile; it reminds me of a song I used to sing with my children. The words were something like this:
3 grey elephants balancing
step by step on a piece of string
thought it was such a wonderful stunt
that they called for another elephant
Happy memories!

This time it's for Less is More. The brief is "3 pastels" and it worked so well using the Falling in Love DSP from Stampin' Up. Colours used are Blushing Bride, Soft Sky and Very Vanilla.
I've just gone to link this entry and I'm wondering whether it is "CAS" enough! Perhaps I shouldn't have stamped on the background ... or perhaps I should have used vanilla as the base ....... Will wait and see if I can come up with something else.
I've tried again and hope this will have enough "white space".
I'll give it a go. Same colour combo, but this time I've used the Beautiful You stamp. Everyone seems to love this stamp; I've seen so many cards done with it.
House of Cards has a "feathers" challenge and I LOVE feathers so I have to enter.
I think this is a great card for a male birthday.
It's The Male Room which has inspired me to start again. I couldn't resist their latest challenge requiring black & white & one other colour. I've been waiting to try out my new High Tide (SU) stamp and here is the result. I like the dark, stormy look - it seems to fit the sentiment well.

Late addition - This card received an honourable mention from The Male Room. Hooray!!
I'm all inspired by The Male Room Challenge so I've completed another card; this one is to congratulate grandparents on their first grandson.
A bit of dimension with the duck, balloons & growsuit. Pear Pizazz is the colour, though that may not be very obvious as my phone camera seems to be turning everything brownish; it's certainly not obvious that the bench on which the card is sitting is white.
Have fixed settings on phone camera. Hooray! Better photo here.
Thanks for looking.
