Another Christmas card for these challenges.

Color Throwdown & Try Stampin' on Tuesday

I've been working for a couple of weeks & am really enjoying playing with the current challenges.
Another sketch & colour combo.

It's interesting to read the comments about snow etc, while we're heading into summer in Australia

Here's my take.  I don't think the sparkle has shown up very well on the flowers or butterflies.  Quite a versatile sketch - I think this could make a good wedding, engagement or anniversary card - or general purpose!

Stampin Celebration & Colour Me Challenges

Here's the sketch...  and colours .....

The Friday Mashup - I Mashed it!

This is the challenge.

http://www.fridaymashup.com/

I did do the colours and the sparkle, but my "right-way up" photo doesn't show the sparkle.  It's visible in the sideways pic.

One for the Color Throwdown

I love the colour combination in the picture, but I found it hard to match the colours.

Pals Paper Arts & The Card Concept

A lot of cardmaking has been happening over the past few days.  I'll be working for a couple of weeks and won't have much time for this .... and there are so many great challenges around this week.

This is my card.  Beautiful colours - the leaves in the picture were my inspiration.

Not certain which style category this fits in for The Card Concept - perhaps "clean & layered".

Colour Me Challenge

Monochromatic - Real Red.
I don't do much with red - apart from Christmas cards - so I enjoyed thinking about this one.  There are some really beautiful samples & entries for this challenge - well worth a look.

Nacho Averages & 'Tis the Season

A colour palette & a sketch combined this time.

Here's my take.  I love the pool party embossing powder; it's a grest colour & shows detail really well.

Thanks for looking.

C.A.S double challenge

This one required the use of specified colours and a sketch - see below.

http://cascoloursandsketches.blogspot.com.au/2014/10/challenge-98-double.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed:+Cas-ColoursAndSketchesBlog+%28CAS+-+Colours+and+Sketches+Blog%29

This is the first card I did using the colours only - I hadn't noted that the sketch was to be used as well.  The sponging gave a nice 3D look.

When I realised my error, I modified my original design to take this into account.  I found the colour combination quite tricky and couldn't think of another way to use these colours.

Here's my take - another Christmas one.  I'm gradually building my supplyThis challenge yielded me two more!!

Hooray!  I got top pick for this challenge!

Christmas Card in Pastels

'Tis the Season set the challenge for pink pirouette, so saffron & pool party .... & Try Stampin' on Tuesday provided the sketch.

Here's my effort.  The stars are dry-embossed & the pool party colour comes from sponging.  Sentiment heat-embossed with pool party embossing powder.

Thanks for looking.

I was one of 2 chosen for this!  Hooray!
